Kendrah da Silva

Kendrah da Silva M.Tech Chiro is the elected Board representative for the WFC’s African region.

Kendrah is a three-term past president of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA), an association she has served for over a quarter of a century. Born and raised in South Africa, she spent a year working in Germany, returning to South Africa to study chiropractic at the Durban Institute of Technology. She was one of the first graduates of this program and has worked in full-time private practice Midrand, South Africa since graduating.

Kendrah became involved with CASA shortly after graduation, and has served on national council level since 2000, as councilor, vice-president and president. She also qualified as a Kinesio taping instructor in 2011. She is currently a clinician, moderator and lecturer at the University of Johannesburg.

During her tenure on the national council, Kendrah has become the expert on the coding systems utilized in South Africa, assisting with the WHO ICD 11 process by serving on the WFC Coding Committee. She now manages the training of chiropractors to code correctly in South Africa.

As well as having been elected onto the WFC Board for the African region, Kendrah also serves on its Public Health Committee.

Kendrah has presented widely on various platforms including at the WFC Congress, CASA National congress, African Chiropractic Federation congress, and South African Health Inquiry Commission.
